Be stylish with a Hounds Tooth iPod or Cell Phone mitten! The Houndstooth pattern is a classic pattern that never goes out of style but it happens to be really hot right now! I have seen the HT pattern, not only on clothing, but also on mugs, notebook covers, shoes, bags, umbrellas, glasses, and just about everywhere. I came up with the Hound's Tooth stitch pattern, and have not seen it anywhere. (not even in older crochet books or stitch pattern books) When I've seen a pattern that says it's a HT pattern, is is different from mine. This is a pretty quick pattern, using # 3, crochet thread. Don't be intimidated by the thread. It's not very small. In fact, it's about the size of a fingering or sport wt. yarn as far as thickness.
