The first one I want to share is the Tunique Unique Pullover. We did a French theme for the book and decided to give the projects French names or words. I love the outdoor setting of the book. Photo shoot was in Denver, Colorado at various places - gardens, coffee shop and a sidewalk cafe. This top will be flattering on anyone - I wrote the pattern for sizes XS -3X & there are NO increases or decreases! # 2 Sport weight yarn (Rowan wool / cotto fingering), was usedan for this projet. Let me know what you think!

This is really a fun paternity stitch!
ReplyDeletelove it...and wondering how a size 12 lady would look cut with the flared sides at bottom...thanks for posting...ann
ReplyDeleteThank you! I think a size 12 would look great in this. You can wear it loose. My idea was that the flares on the sides would help cover. Let me know if you ever decide to make it! I'd like to know how it fits and looks!
ReplyDeleteBtw, can't believe I did that, but my title is wrong! I said in Crochet That Fits, but it's in the new book, Colorful Crochet Lace! I'm going to change that.
I love. Don't stop crocheting!
ReplyDeleteLooks beautiful and appealing to wear!

DeleteI love this place. I had an event here back in May last year and I felt like it was a perfect day for us! The Chicago event space provides you with an event Specialist as part of your package which is extremely helpful. Plus all of us dressed up only added to the entire ambience.
ReplyDeleteHi can you explain how to get both sleeves? The chain 61 only goes one direction and I can't figure out how to get the other side. I love your patterns and have made several others. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteHi Gogo Girl!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry I'm just now seeing your question! You get the beginning chain of the other sleeve by attaching a new strand of yarn to the other side. You'll make a chain on that side and it will be the base of your sleeve. The tech editor changed the wording on my original pattern, so it wasn't easy to understand, but I have posted corrections here on my blog. Did you see that? The publisher, Interweave Press, also has the corrections on their website.
